More than 30 artists here have taken their skills and our insatiable appetite for one-liners and catchy phrases and have presented an entire album made completely of jingles and advertisements mixed together. Not only is this album familiar but it’s alarming at the ridiculous amount of advertisements that have perpetuated our society. American society has been built upon by advertisements and marketing and this shows how the whole thing was done with an ironic and in your face effort. You have to love “Medicine Head 24 Hour” which takes all the side effects of medicine and compares it to being high and shows that “one daily dose provides 24 hours of headache, diarrhea and abdominal pain”. How utterly genius is that? Every Man aka Jay Kennedy was the person behind assembling this whole thing. Perhaps the most ingenious thing was that the idea behind the title was to set those words free. Although “Armour Hot Kids” is pretty darn funny and you gotta love the samples of the Tootsie Roll Pop commercial in “Sex Sells…But Who’s Buying”. This may not be something you listen to over and over again but it’s a worthy buy, all ironies aside.
